When I read this article I was interested in learning what the big deal is. It is a shame that we have miseducated ourselves to say that exposing breasts in a newspaper for advertisement is pornography and exploitation of women. I do not understand if these women who volunteered to be photographed with their breasts exposed to have readers of both sexes to see them how can it then be sexists? Nudity is not dirty. Where is that is said that it is forbidden? I have the Bible and it states I am not to get unclothed in front of my brother, uncle, etc. If you read that section of the Bible closely, it is in the context of sex. Sleeping with the individual. So in other words, INCEST is forbidden not the act of being nude. If being nude was a sin then Job who felt hurt and wanted an answer from God regarding his sufferings after God allowed the devil to plague him with boils and lost of children God would have punished him further once he stripped his clothes off, placed dust on his head and sat with his friends who did the same to consul him. Don’t believe me read it for yourself. Read the Book of Job, Chapters 1 and 2. God wanted a relationship with HIM not religion. Before we throw the book at others for their actions, we should prepare ourselves and improve. Nudity is not a SIN. We are not born with clothes and here is an awakening: you may be buried with clothing but you do not take them with you so YOU ARE NAKED when you meet your maker. There is NOTHING to hide. Think of that!
I read an article in the Orlando Sentinel regarding Pope Francis’ First Christmas Prayer. Being a former practicing Catholic, I am curious about what the current leader of the Church says and does. So far, I have been very impressed about his works and messages and today was no different. Similar to the Dalai Lama, this pope asked the world for cooperation in regards to peace. He wants us all to work together regardless of religion, social status, economic status, etc. The message is true. We are one. We may practice different religions; may have different cultures; speak different languages, etc. Yet, we are ONE. Why and how? We are all Human Beings. WE are of that RACE. Therefore, we should respect each other as we respect the differences of our family members. The pursuit of money will only bring the WORLD to discord. The pursuit of peace and love is better for all. Judge for yourself. Read his article and let me know what you think.
Whether you believe, celebrate Christmas or not, Everyday is a reason; everyday is a season to celebrate life. We are here for each other. We all serve a purpose of love. WE were not created to display the worse of ourselves. That is the nature that was created by us. Love is innate and evil is created, It is demonstrated on a constant basis in nature with the animals. Here is a story of pure delusion, ego and selfishness. What did the child do to deserve this? They arre so many children out there that need quality parents and so many qualified parents. Why did this child have to be used as an instrument of delusion and greed. Revenge. to whom? The mother of the child? She will be hurt and forever changed but if she believes in a higher power as I do, she will recover. However, the gentleman’s soul will forever be plagued with his decision on this mortal world. For he, will have to answer to HIS Creator the destruction of HIS responsibility and HIS role in it.
Please People if not for the season for yourselves, LOVE unconditionally.
Now that Thanksgiving is over does it mean that my gratitude and gratefulness of what the year has brought is remembered and reflected only on that day?Obviously not, since I am writing this article about gratitude and what I am grateful for. Practicing gratitude is a daily practice that needs to be done second by second; minute by minute, hour by hour, etc.
Around this time of year we tend to forget what we are grateful for and what we should be grateful for and make plans to celebrate the holidays in a BIG fashion. Getting the best deals for material goods. Getting them before the next person. Getting the BEST material gift for our family: the HOTTEST new clothes, new toy, new kitchen appliances, etc. We even forget our manners and sense of dignity trying to get the best deals before the next person. Just read for yourself the numerous examples listed on a website dedicating to list most of the news reports regarding Black Friday injuries and fatal incidents: http://blackfridaydeathcount.com/ How sad it is that we even have such a list. The holidays are supposed to be about good cheer and we are supposed to be even kinder and grateful to our fellow man. Extra good not just good for the holidays.
Anyway, back to what I am grateful for.
I am grateful for:
- the numerous lessons I have learned and continue to learn this year;
- I have made new friends;
- Met new clients;
- Met new mentors;
- Met new colleagues and other individuals who have supported me and my business, provided me with more educational opportunities, more writing opportunities, more financial opportunities, etc.
- Grateful for the time I have spent and continue to spend with my children;
- the stronger bond I have developed with several friends;
- the stronger bond and commitment I have developed with my love partner;
- the stronger bond and commitment to myself;
- the stronger bond with my kids;
- the understanding from misunderstandings from past events, former colleagues, former relationships;
- the continual forgiveness to myself for my mistakes;
- the continual journey to improve myself physically, mentally, spiritually
- the continual experiences to assist others in their journey;
- the hunger to continue to learn;
- the passion to help others;
- the job that I report to;
- the house that I live in;
- the food in my refrigerator;
- my health;
- my education;
- my kids;
- clothes on my back;

I love the fact that I have an opportunity to write things down and have access to the internet, a computer to share my thoughts. I love the fact that I have the freedom to do so. I am grateful for my life and everything that has come about even my challenges. For every challenge, I have received. It has taught me more and more things about myself. So as November ends, December begins and the New Year approaches, always be grateful for what you have. Don’t be so preoccupied with material things. They don’t mean as much as the people that are around you. Live and love your life each day as your last. You never know when your life force will be asked of you. Pick and choose your fights; not everyone needs to be won. Remember sometimes it is better to be happy than to be right. Thank you, Gabrielle Bernstein for that lesson.
